Is it a condition for one who wishes to combine prayers due to the excuse of rain that he prays all the prayers in the mosque?

Scholars have differed on the issue of combining prayers due to rain, and the details of their opinions are as follows:

Hanbalis: They permit combining prayers due to rain only between Maghrib and Isha, even for someone praying alone at home, as long as there is hardship where the rain wets one's clothes. Shafi'is: They stipulate that combining prayers must be in the mosque for a congregation that is affected by rain on their way to it. They do not permit it for someone who prays at home or is not affected. They permit it for Dhuhr and Asr prayers, and Maghrib and Isha prayers, only as taqdim (combining by praying the second prayer at the time of the first), not as ta'khir (combining by delaying the first prayer to the time of the second). Malikis: They permit combining prayers only between Isha and Maghrib, and they stipulate that it must be in the mosque, except for someone who prays at home by following the Imam of the mosque. They do not permit it for someone who does not experience hardship. Hanafis: They do not permit combining prayers at all except during rituals (Hajj).

Prudence dictates not to avail oneself of the concession of combining prayers except when hardship exists.
