Does swallowing food residue during prayer invalidate it, due to not rinsing the mouth beforehand?

The prayer is not invalidated by swallowing leftover food between the teeth. However, if a worshiper eats or drinks intentionally, their prayer becomes invalid, whether it is an obligatory or a supererogatory prayer. If they do so out of forgetfulness, their prayer is not invalidated according to the Hanbalis and Shafi'is, based on the Prophet’s saying, peace and blessings be upon him: "My nation has been forgiven for mistakes and forgetfulness." As for the Hanafis and Al-Awza'i, they consider the prayer invalid in both cases.
