Is a person forbidden from their home in Khulays without passing the miqat, or is he forbidden from one of the Mawaqit, if he lives in Riyadh and travels to Khulays to perform Hajj?

If someone has two residences, one outside the miqat and the other within its boundaries, and intends to travel to Mecca to perform the rituals, they may enter into ihram from either. It is preferable to enter ihram from the more distant residence. If they reside more in one of them, then it takes the ruling of the village where they reside more. So, if a Muslim resides in Jeddah, which is within the miqat boundaries, and intends to perform Hajj, they may enter into ihram from Jeddah. However, it is better and preferable to enter into ihram from the miqat (Qarn al-Manazil) if they are coming, for example, from the Eastern Province, because they are considered a new arrival.
