Was the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, washed after his death, and was his washing like that of other Muslims, and if he was not washed, what is the reason?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was washed while clothed. Al-Abbas, Al-Fadl, and Qutham turned him over, while Usama and Shuqran poured water, and Ali washed him. Aws supported him, leaning him against his chest. Then he was shrouded in three white cotton cloths from Sahul, with no shirt or turban among them. Afterward, people prayed over him individually: men, women, and children. He was then buried in the chamber where he passed away.
