What is considered in the sale of goods is the disclosure of defects and the absence of deception, based on the hadith: "The two parties to a transaction have the option [to annul it] as long as they have not separated. If they are truthful and make clear [the defects], they will be blessed in their transaction. If they lie and conceal [the defects], the blessing of their transaction will be erased."

If the defect is apparent to the buyer, there is no harm in the sale. Otherwise, the seller is sinful, and the buyer has the option to return the sold item or keep it, based on the hadith: "Whoever cheats is not from me."

Deception is presenting the sold item differently from its true nature, or concealing its defect, which if the buyer were aware of, they would not take the item.

The seller preventing the buyer from selecting the good and leaving the bad is not considered coercion, because the buyer has the option.
