What should a worshipper think about during prayer, and how can they achieve humility (khushu') in it, especially for non-Arabic speakers who find it difficult to concentrate and ponder the verses?

A Muslim should perfect their standing before God in prayer, contemplating God's عظَمة (greatness), and focus on their prayer without being preoccupied by any external thoughts. They can achieve this through sincerity to God, contemplating His greatness and His watchful presence, pondering the meanings of the dhikr and the Qur'an, avoiding anything that distracts them in the prayer area, not looking around with their heart or gaze, and remembering death and praying as if it were their last prayer. "Indeed, Allah turns His Face towards His servant's face as long as the servant does not turn away." As for someone who is not Arab, they should learn the language and understand the meanings as much as possible. If they are unable to do so, then they should contemplate God's greatness and their humility before Him, know that God is aware of them, and pray the prayer of one bidding farewell.
