Is it considered an act of disobedience (ʿuqūq) to raise one's voice at one's father and try to free oneself from him when he assaults one by hitting, due to going to the mosque despite his objection?

One should supplicate for a father's guidance and repentance, and treat him with piety and kindness, even if he is a disbeliever or an oppressor, for Allah the Almighty says: "But if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, then do not obey them, but accompany them in [this] world with appropriate kindness." One is not obliged to obey a father if he forbids his son from congregational prayer without a valid reason. It is not permissible to raise one's voice at one's father, and if a father assaults by striking, the son is not considered disobedient for defending himself.
