Did the Companion Abu Mas'ud 'Uqbah ibn 'Amr al-Ansari al-Badri witness the Battle of Badr, and is Abu Ya'la Shaddad ibn Aws a brother to Abu Ruqayyah Tamim ibn Aws al-Dari?

Abu Mas'ud Uqbah ibn Amr al-Ansari did not participate in the Battle of Badr itself, but he encamped at the waters of Badr. He witnessed the Second Pledge of Aqabah and Uhud and the battles thereafter. He was among the knowledgeable Companions, settled in Kufa, and Ali appointed him as his deputy over it. He passed away in Medina in the year forty-one.

Abu Ya'la Shaddad ibn Aws al-Ansari, the nephew of Hassan ibn Thabit, was among the most virtuous and devout of the Companions. Umar appointed him as governor of Homs. He withdrew from the discord after Uthman's assassination and passed away in Jerusalem in the year fifty-eight.

Tamim ibn Aws al-Dari al-Lakhmi al-Filastini embraced Islam in the ninth year (of the Hijra) after having been a Christian. He moved to شام (the Levant) after Uthman's assassination and resided in Jerusalem. He was diligent in performing night prayers and acts of worship. He passed away in the year forty.
