Will the disobedient person whom God has blessed with a good ending see the angels of punishment or the angels of mercy at the time of death?

He whom God blesses with a good ending through sincere repentance is promised to see the angels of mercy at the time of death, who will give him glad tidings of Paradise. This is true even if he was disobedient or an unbeliever who then embraced Islam and died before performing any good deeds, as in the story of Al-Uṣayrim and the story of the slayer of a hundred souls. Allah Almighty says: "Indeed, those who have said, 'Our Lord is Allah ' and then remained on a right course—the angels will descend upon them [at death], [saying], 'Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised.'" (Fussilat: 30). So, the believer is attended by angels of mercy, while the disbeliever is attended by angels of torment.
