This partnership is a (or Qirad), where one partner provides the capital and the other provides the labor. For it to be valid, the following conditions must be met: there must be an agreement on a common share of the profit, not a fixed amount; the Mudarib (working partner) must not guarantee the capital unless there is negligence or transgression; and the Mudarabah must be based on cash, even if there is a narration allowing it with goods that are valued in cash.
