Why do people commit suicide when Allah "does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity," and says, "Indeed, with hardship [will come] ease," and when will Allah's relief come, and is it possible that Allah has forsaken me?

Allah's saying: "Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity" means that Allah has not commanded His servants to do what they cannot bear. People's suicides occur due to ignorance and ill-conception of Allah, whereas ease will inevitably come. One must have a good opinion of Allah and be patient in the face of affliction, while remembering the promised reward and reading the biographies of the patient. Furthermore, calamities befall a servant due to their sins, and they must sincerely repent and seek forgiveness.
