Will every disbeliever enter Hellfire, and is Islam merely acts of worship, or is it peace among people? What is meant by: "And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him"? Are there matters in religion that demean women, and was the Messenger's (peace be upon him) treatment of his wives solely for sexual purposes? What is the interpretation of the alleged contradiction in the verses about Al-Hur Al-Ain, and why is the word "muttaqiyat" (pious women) not found in the Quran?

We seek refuge for you with Allah from apostasy, and we ask Him to open your heart to the truth. Every disbeliever's deserving of Hell is logical and religiously sound, for if someone disbelieves in Allah or associates partners with Him, how can they enter Paradise? An exception to this is one who has not received a clear exposition of the proof.

As for the definition of Islam, it is not "peace," but rather "submission to Allah and obedience to His command," as in His saying: {Yes, whoever submits his face to Allah while being a doer of good}. And regarding the questioner's statement: "Why did it not say 'whoever follows' instead of 'whoever seeks'?" Both phrases convey that the only accepted religion in the sight of Allah is Islam, as He Almighty said: {And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from him}.

As for the questioner's accusations against Islam of mistreating women, this is a misunderstanding. Islam has honored women and elevated their status. The story of Sawdah bint Zam'ah, may Allah be pleased with her, donating her day to 'Aisha when she became elderly, was not because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, wished to divorce her; rather, it was out of consideration for her condition and 'Aisha's age.
