Is it possible to restore self-confidence and contribute effectively to society after repenting from past sins that affected one's reputation?

There is no grave sin for which Allah does not forgive its perpetrator with sincere repentance, and Allah replaces bad deeds with good ones for whoever repents, believes, and does righteous deeds. Lack of self-confidence is a symptom of weak faith, and it is treated by strengthening faith and trust in Allah, abandoning obsessive thoughts, observing the obligatory prayers, and increasing acts of charity, night prayers, supplication, and remembrance. A person must enjoin good and forbid evil and invite to Allah, even if they are deficient in their religious practice.
