How can it be just for someone destined for wretchedness from eternity to enter Hellfire, even though Allah is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and His mercy encompasses all things, while the majority of people will be among the inhabitants of Hellfire?

Delving into Divine Decree (Qadar) is blameworthy, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade it. The stages of Qadar are four: the all-encompassing Divine Knowledge, the Divine Will for everything that occurs, the inscription in the Preserved Tablet (Al-Lawh Al-Mahfuz), and the Divine Creation of everything. The Hadith, "These are for Paradise, and I care not; and these are for Hellfire, and I care not," relates to Allah's pre-knowledge of the servants' deeds, not their compulsion. For the servant acts by their choice and will, and Allah commands good and forbids evil, granting equal opportunities. The deeds of servants are by Allah's Will; whoever He wills to guide, He guides, and whoever He wills to lead astray, He withholds success from them. Allah is Just and does not wrong His servants, and He is independent of them. If these stages are not understood, let the servant act according to what they have been commanded, for everyone is facilitated for what they were created for.
