How does intercession benefit the disobedient on the Day of Resurrection, when its conditions for acceptance include God's satisfaction with the interceded for? And will angels, prophets, and righteous people intercede for disbelievers?

The intercession of theists, angels, and believers is established. Among the conditions for accepting intercession are God's permission for the intercessor and His satisfaction with the one for whom intercession is made, and that the one for whom intercession is made must be a Muslim. Allah Almighty says: "Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission?" And He says: "And they do not intercede except for whom He approves." As for the disbelievers, they have no intercessor, as Allah Almighty said: "For the wrongdoers there will be no devoted friend and no intercessor [who is] obeyed."
