Does divorce occur if the wife goes out without informing her husband, knowing that the husband stipulated this by saying: "If you go out without informing me, then you are divorced," then he corrected himself by saying: "God willing," then he permitted her to go out in the future absolutely, and is she required to inform him every time she goes out?

Scholars have differed on the ruling regarding conditioning divorce upon God's will. The Hanafis and Shafi'is are of the opinion that divorce does not occur upon the breach of such an oath. The Malikis and Hanbalis, however, elaborated: if the swearer intended to refer the will to the act, divorce does not occur. But if he intended to refer the will to the divorce itself, or had no intention, then divorce occurs. Accordingly, if divorce does not occur when the wife leaves without the husband's permission, based on the view that the oath is void due to the exception of God's will, then it does occur according to the other view, unless the husband has given her general permission to go out.
