Is grieving over a deceased mother and imagining meeting her in Paradise a temptation from Satan or a natural human emotion?

Grief over calamities is a natural human emotion, but patience and submission to Allah Almighty's decree alleviate its pain. Patience in tribulation yields fruits such as knowing its reward, its expiation for sins, its being a destined decree, its being a right of Allah upon His servant, its cause being sins, Allah's pleasure with it, its being a beneficial cure, the healing and wellness that result from it, and its being a test from Allah and a form of training for the servant. Blameworthy grief is that which leads to a weakened heart and hinders it from acts of obedience. The Quran has forbidden it, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) sought refuge from it.

As for Paradise, entering it is the true success. Allah Almighty has guaranteed the happiness of its inhabitants, where they will find whatever their souls desire and whatever they ask for. It is a abode without sorrow or boredom. A Muslim should strive to enter Paradise, and delving into matters of the unseen and their modalities may not be beneficial and could be harmful. Paradise is a complete life different from this worldly life.
