Is it permissible to attract Christians to Islam with religious hymns accompanied by music, and is it permissible to form a religious band that uses musical instruments and music in its hymns?

There is no need to attract people with unlawful things such as music and musical instruments. Rather, permissible means should be used to convey the Qur’an with tajwid, impactful hadiths, beneficial poems and anthems, and to present evidence for the merits of Islam and explain its sublime teachings. For whoever only responds to that which contains a prohibition, there is no good in him.
