Where is the place of ihram for a woman coming from Egypt to Jeddah on the 6th of Dhul-Hijjah with the intention of joining her husband to perform Hajj with him?

If the wife intends to perform Hajj upon her return from Egypt, she must enter into the state of Ihram from the Miqat designated for the people of Egypt. It is not permissible for her to pass the Miqat to Jeddah and enter Ihram from there. If she delays entering Ihram until Jeddah, she is obligated to offer a sacrifice (dam) unless she returns to the Miqat.

However, if her travel is a return from Egypt to her husband and her place of residence is in Jeddah, but she intends to perform the rituals this year, then her Ihram will be from where she resides, i.e., from Jeddah, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "And whoever is within these Miqats, his place of Ihram is from his dwelling, even the people of Makkah enter Ihram from Makkah."
