Is it permissible for a mother to make a will stipulating the differentiation of a son from daughters in their father's inheritance? And is it the right of one of the daughters to demand her full share? And is it the right of one of the heirs to be distinguished by choosing his share?

Parents are not permitted to bequeath to some children to the exclusion of others after their death, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, Allah has given every rightful person his right, so there is no will for an heir." This will is not permissible unless all adult and mature heirs consent to it. The father's inheritance is a right for all heirs, and the wife is not entitled to favor some children with more than their legal share. The estate must be divided according to Islamic law, and the one deprived of his right may claim it. As for choosing a share (portion), the estate is a right for all heirs, and common property is not divided except by mutual consent; otherwise, it is sold, and its price is divided.
