Are frequent health problems that are not cured by treatment, or are cured then return in the same place, a punishment, a test, or sorcery/evil eye?

Problems can be a trial from Allah, or a punishment for the disobedient, or due to magic and the evil eye. The cure for this is to mend one's relationship with Allah, adhere to acts of obedience, frequently ask Allah for well-being (al-afiyah), and persistently recite supplications (adhkar). If illness occurs, one must seek its natural medical treatment and use ruqyah ash-shar'iyah (Islamic incantation).
