Are there others besides Iblis among those granted respite, especially given that the verse "Indeed, you are among those granted respite" came in the plural form?

There are others besides Iblis—may Allah curse him—who are granted respite, namely the angels and spirits. Allah has excluded them from being struck unconscious at the first blowing of the Trumpet. It was narrated from Muqatil that they are: Jibreel, Mika'il, Israfil, and Azra'il. Ibn Abbas, Sa'id ibn Jubayr, and Abu Hurairah said that they are the martyrs. It was narrated from Al-Dahhak that they are the Houris, the guardians of Hellfire, and the bearers of the Throne. Some scholars have mentioned that there is no authentic text that specifies them.
