Are the adhkar of prayer restricted to a specific time, such that it is not permissible to say them after returning home or while on the way?

The Sunnah (definition) regarding post-prayer supplications is that they should be recited immediately after the prayer, without a long interval, whether that interval is due to performing the Sunnah prayer or anything else. It is permissible to recite them after leaving the mosque or to divide them between the mosque and the road if that is done directly after the prayer, though it is better to recite them within the mosque. These supplications are recommended to be said before the subsequent Sunnah (optional) prayer. If the interval is prolonged, the specific reward is missed, but the general reward for remembrance (dhikr) still remains.
