ما هي أسباب نزول سورة الأحزاب؟ ولماذا سُميت بهذا الاسم؟

Surat Al-Ahzab is a Madani Surah consisting of seventy-three verses. It was revealed concerning the hypocrites and their harassment of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and their slandering of him. For this reason, some scholars called it "Al-Fadhiha" (The Exposer). The reason for the revelation of some of its verses has been mentioned, such as the Almighty's saying: "nor has He made your adopted sons your [real] sons" and "Call them by [the names of] their fathers," which were revealed concerning Zayd ibn Harithah.
