The answer

Surat Al-Ahzab is Medinan by scholarly consensus, and it consists of 73 verses. It was revealed concerning the hypocrites and their harassment of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, hence it was named "The Exposing One." The deals with a period in the life of the Muslim community in Medina, from after the Battle of Badr until just before the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah. It portrays this period realistically, and it undertakes the reorganization of the Muslim community, establishing its features within the family and society, clarifying its fundamentals of creed and legislation, and modifying or nullifying customs and traditions to align with the new Islamic conception.
