Is the aforementioned supplication, which one of the neighbors saw in a dream from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and which includes asking for unlawful provision and torture for it to become lawful, sinful for the one who supplicates with it? And is the one who supplicates with it considered wronged, especially since he has not seen a good day since his supplication, and his life has become a living hell?

Visions do not establish rulings, but rather one can be comforted by them if they are good tidings. Seeing the Prophet (peace be upon him) is a true vision if the seer sees him in his known description. The mentioned vision contradicts the Sharia (definition), because the Sharia forbids transgression in supplication and seeking knowledge of the unseen. In the Hadith (definition): "Do not supplicate against yourselves, nor against your children, lest you happen to coincide with an hour in which Allah is asked for a grant and He answers you," narrated by Muslim. And Allah Almighty said: "And Allah is not to apprise you of the unseen." The narrowness of livelihood and the misery of life are remedied by fearing Allah, repenting, and staying away from sins. Sins cause hardship, while piety leads to success and ease of affairs, as Allah Almighty said: "And whoever turns away from My remembrance – indeed, he will have a difficult life," and "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect."
