Is it permissible for a congregant to raise his voice when reciting the Quran or the Abrahamic prayer during congregational prayer, even though this might disturb other worshippers?

For a worshipper (ma'mum) to raise his voice in recitation is disliked in both audible (jahriyyah) and inaudible (sirriyyah) prayers, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, the one who prays is communing with his Lord, so let him consider with what he communes, and let not some of you raise your voices over others with the Qur'an." It is recommended for the worshipper to recite inaudibly (in a whisper) in both inaudible and audible prayers. The limit of inaudibility is that the worshipper hears himself only, not others. This is particularly emphasized when he knows that his audible recitation would disturb those around him from among the worshippers. If inaudible recitation is required in this situation, then inaudibility in other matters, such as invoking blessings upon the Prophet (peace be upon him), is even more fitting, as it is a form of remembrance (dhikr) and supplication (du'a), and the general rule for both is inaudibility.
