Sheikh Ibn 'Uthaymeen warned about the necessity of verifying the condition of anyone who practices seeking assistance from jinn, and mentioned that the matter is not easy. Furthermore, Sheikh Khalil Ibrahim was of the opinion that seeking assistance from Muslim jinn for treatment is not permissible, basing his view on the fact that it was not transmitted from the Prophet (peace be upon him) or the Companions, and because it is a pretext for polytheism, resembles the actions of sorcerers, and due to the volatile nature of the jinn.
