Is a husband’s jocular utterance to his wife, "Here’s your divorce paper," when handing her an ordinary piece of paper, considered a pronouncement of divorce?

Divorce occurs through an explicit utterance or an ambiguous one coupled with intention. Your statement to your wife, "Take your divorce paper," does not constitute a divorce due to your lack of intention and its being a joke. Nevertheless, one should avoid such phrases because of the regret they may cause, for earnestness and jest are the same in divorce.
