How are the houses of a deceased man divided, he having a wife and four sons and two daughters from two other wives, and what is the ruling regarding the house originally owned by one of the deceased wives?

If both wives died before the husband, and one of them owned a house, the house is divided among her heirs, including the husband. Then, the husband's share of the house is added to his possessions and divided among his living heirs after him. If the husband left a wife, four sons, and two daughters, the wife's share is one-eighth due to the presence of lineal descendants, as Allah Almighty says: (But if you have children, they get an eighth of what you leave) [An-Nisa/12]. The remainder goes to the sons and daughters, with the male receiving the share of two females, as Allah Almighty says: (Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females) [An-Nisa/11]. The calculation is out of eight: the wife receives one, and the remainder goes to the sons and daughters. To correct the calculation, multiply 8 × 10 = 80. The wife receives 10, each daughter receives 7, and each son receives 14. The inheritance is divided on this basis: for the wife: (inheritance × 10 ÷ 80); for each son: (inheritance × 14 ÷ 80); and for each daughter: (inheritance × 7 ÷ 80). The deceased's estate is what he left, in addition to his share of his wife's house, and his share is determined by knowing the wife's heirs.
