The answer

What is meant by singling out Saturday for fasting, which is disliked, is fasting it alone, not along with a day before it or after it. However, if it coincides with fasting the six days of Shawwal, or the Day of Arafah, or Ashura, there is no dislike in fasting it. It is recommended to fast the six days of Shawwal consecutively immediately after the Eid, but there is no harm in fasting them separately or delaying them.
