What are the conditions for repentance from zina for someone who engaged in light penetration and then regretted it and repented? Does the presence of female friends on social media affect the validity of the repentance? Is that considered of the same nature as the act? And should someone afflicted with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) who doubts their repentance from sins avoid marriage?

This person should cast aside the waswas (whispers of Satan) and get married, and there is no blame upon him. He should have a good opinion of his Lord, for Allah Almighty is the Forgiver of sin and the Accepter of repentance. If his repentance fulfills its conditions—which are abstaining from the sin, resolving not to return to it, and feeling remorse—then it is a sound and accepted repentance, from which he returns as if he had never sinned, due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "The one who repents from sin is like one who has no sin." Repentance from a sin is valid even if one persists in another sin.
