What is the ruling on lying to one's father about the location of bank cards, knowing that they are used in usury, and is this action considered concealing knowledge?

Lying is impermissible except when necessary. Scholars have permitted lying to achieve a legitimate benefit or avert harm, if this cannot be achieved without lying. Therefore, if you are compelled to lie to dissuade your father from dealing with the usurious credit card, there is no sin upon you. This is not considered blameworthy concealment of knowledge, as the concealment of knowledge specifically refers to concealing religious knowledge from people when they need it, as Allah Almighty says: "Indeed, those who conceal what We sent down of clear proofs and guidance after We made it clear for the people in the Scripture - those are cursed by Allah and cursed by those who curse" (Quran 2:159). And as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever is asked about knowledge and conceals it will be bridled with a bridle of fire on the Day of Resurrection."
