Is a wife forbidden to her husband if he resumes speaking to another woman after she told him: "If you return and speak to her, then I am forbidden to you as forbidden as a father and a brother, and my living with you is not permissible"? And is it permissible to call God to witness the husband's actions and not forgive him?

The husband must fear Allah, sever his relationship with this woman, and repent to Allah. The wife should continuously advise him and remind him of Allah. The wife's statement to her husband, "You will be forbidden to me with the prohibition of a father and a brother if you speak to another woman again," does not result in a prohibition. If the husband does speak to her again, the wife owes an expiation for breaking an oath (feeding ten poor people or clothing them; if she cannot find that, then fasting three days). The wife should alert him that what the husband is committing is an injustice to himself and an overstepping of Allah's boundaries, and that repentance erases what came before it.
