Does "No one came with anything better than what he came with" in the Hadith mean that the reward for this remembrance (dhikr) surpasses the reward for prayer, fasting, and Hajj, or does the Hadith bear a metaphorical meaning to describe the greatness of the reward?

Allah has opened the gates of good for Muslims, including dhikr (remembrance of Allah) and du'a (supplication). It is narrated in a hadith from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever says 'Lā ilāha illallāh wahdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa alā kulli shay’in Qadīr' (There is no god but Allah alone, He has no partners, to Him belongs sovereignty and to Him belongs all praise, and He is over all things competent) one hundred times in a day, it will be for him the equivalent of freeing ten slaves, and one hundred good deeds will be recorded for him, and one hundred bad deeds will be erased from him, and it will be a protection for him from Satan on that day until evening, and no one will come with anything better than what he has come with, except for a man who does more than him."

The meaning of "the equivalent of ten slaves" is the reward for freeing ten slaves. "Erase" means removed. "Protection" means safeguarding. His saying, "and no one will come with anything better than what he has come with, except for a man who does more than him," means that this dhikr is among the best deeds, and no one comes with anything better than it except one who exceeds him in number, or who performs other righteous deeds that are weightier and have greater reward. It does not mean that the reward for this dhikr is greater than that of prayer, fasting, or Hajj. Rather, it is one of the best types of dhikr, and whoever adds to it, either from the same dhikr or from other types of acts of worship, will attain a greater reward.
