Why is worship an exclusive right of Allah alone?

Worship is an exclusive right of Allah alone over all His creation, and it is for this purpose that He created them. He is the Bestower of all apparent and hidden blessings, the Creator, the Sustainer, the Healer. Therefore, it is neither logically nor Islamically sound to worship anyone other than Him. Allah is worthy of worship due to His absolute perfection, His beautiful names, and His sublime attributes, and because He is free from all deficiencies. Devoting worship solely to Allah is an obligation by logic, by religious law, and by innate human disposition (fitra). Directing any part of it to other than Him is polytheism (shirk), which Allah does not forgive, because it likens the imperfect to the perfect, and it is the ugliest and most invalid form of resemblance, entailing the utmost injustice. The religious, logical, and innate evidences all converge on the necessity of singling out Allah alone for worship, without any partners.
