If a woman sees blood at a time when it could be menstruation, then it is menstruation, and she should refrain from fasting and prayer for it. She is not obliged to make up the prayers for which the time began while she was pure and then saw blood, though if she makes them up as a precaution, it is good. As for yellowish and brownish discharges, they have specific rulings.
