The meaning of the rule "Necessities permit the forbidden" has been previously explained. It is not permissible to kill a soul that Allah has forbidden, under the pretext of coercion. Rather, one must endure the tribulation with patience. As for fornication due to necessity under coercion, there is no sin upon the coerced woman, and scholars have differed concerning the man who is coerced into it. The ruling on masturbation due to necessity has been previously explained in prior fatwas.
