The answer

Aisha asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) if he had experienced a day more severe than the Battle of Uhud. He replied that the most severe thing he encountered from his people was on the day of Al-Aqaba, when he presented himself to Ibn Abd Yalil but received no response. So he departed, distressed, until he reached Qarn Al-Tha'alib. There, he saw a cloud containing Jibreel, who informed him that Allah had heard the words of his people and had sent him the angel of the mountains to command him as he wished. The angel of the mountains then called out to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and offered to crush them between the two mountains (Al-Akhshabayn). The Prophet replied, "Rather, I hope that Allah will bring forth from their loins those who will worship Allah alone and not associate anything with Him."
