Is it permissible for a woman to wipe over her head covering (khimar), and is it permissible to shorten the Maghrib prayer during travel?

Scholars have differed on the permissibility of wiping over the khimar (head covering) without necessity. The more correct view is that it is permissible to wipe over it. As for shortening the Maghrib prayer, it is not permissible, because it has only been reported for the four-rak'ah prayers.
