What is the ruling on complaining about studying by saying: "Why weren't we created knowledgeable?"
It is not permissible to object to Allah's decree and destiny, for Allah is not to be questioned about what He does, and His estimation of things is based on wisdom and benefit, even if hidden from people. However, there is no harm in seeking wisdom without the intent to object. Among the wisdoms behind not creating humans learned are:
1. So that humans may gradually develop, and thus thank Allah for His blessings and grace.
2. So that humans may strive and exert effort in learning, thereby earning reward and having their status elevated with Allah.
3. So that they may supplicate to Allah to teach them what benefits them.
