Is standing under the shower, moving the body to spread water all over it, sufficient? And is it necessary to get water to the area between the thighs, under the organ, and around the anus, or is the outer surface of the body sufficient?

Ghusl is sufficient by standing under the shower and letting water flow over the entire outer body. Massaging is not a condition according to the majority of scholars. The outer body includes the area between the thighs, beneath the male organ, the outer part of the anus, the insides of the armpits, and the navel. Water must be conveyed into the ear without pouring it in. It is recommended to restrict oneself to the manner of the Prophet’s ghusl, peace and blessings be upon him, and to disregard obsessive thoughts that may lead to prolonged stays in the bathroom.
