The answer

Muslims must uphold the religion to the best of their ability, and scholars and callers to Islam have an even greater obligation. It is not permissible to be negligent regarding any of God’s rituals by claiming they are superficial or secondary issues. Shortcomings in adhering to the diminish the standing of the caller to Islam and harm their da’wah. Obligations and prohibitions vary, but this does not mean being lenient in abandoning an obligation or committing a prohibited act. Allah Almighty says: (O you who have believed, enter into Islam completely) and Ibn Kathir interpreted it as embracing all ties and laws of Islam as much as they are able. It is incumbent upon Muslims to establish God's religion in themselves and their homelands to the best of their ability, for Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity.
