Does religion change with the changing times, and how can one reconcile the demands of contemporary life with religion?

The Islamic faith is Allah's final and conclusive law, and within it are immutable constants that do not change with the alteration of time, such as prescribed punishments (hudud), the prohibition of usury (riba), and obligatory duties (fara'id). A Muslim must subject their life to the Sacred Law, and it is impermissible to bend the religion to accommodate developments in life, for every new matter has a Shariah ruling clarified by scholars.
