How do we respond to secularists who claim that the rulings of the Quran, such as the stoning of the fornicator and the cutting off of the hand of the thief, are not eternal and change over time and according to circumstances, using the Quran, Sunnah, and logic?

Religion is what Allah has legislated in His Book or through the tongue of His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, including beliefs, acts of worship, dealings, morals, and laws. Everything legislated by Allah must be believed in and applied. Allah has perfected the religion and approved Islam, and He made the message of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, the final of all messages, and his law dominant and valid until the Day of Judgment. So, whoever claims that the rulings of Sharia are not suitable for this era, his statement leads to denying the perfection of the religion and the finality of prophethood, and accusing Allah Almighty of legislating inappropriate rulings or leaving creation without suitable legislation. Humanity has tried earthly methodologies, and they have led to injustice and corruption. There is no salvation for it except by adhering to what Allah has legislated.
