Is it permissible to marry or travel during the irrevocable waiting period (iddah bainah) that the court has specified as three menstrual cycles?

If the divorce is an irrevocable major divorce (three divorces), then it is not permissible for the husband to marry his divorced wife until she marries another man willingly, and he divorces her or dies.

However, if the divorce is an irrevocable minor divorce (such as through Khul’ — divorce at the wife's instance), then the husband may marry her with a new contract and dowry, even if it is during her waiting period ('iddah). He may explicitly propose to her or make an indirect proposal.

It is not permissible for a woman in her 'iddah to travel, whether her divorce was irrevocable or revocable.
