If the legitimate marriage contract has been concluded, the woman becomes a wife, and it is permissible for the husband to see her and go out with her. However, customs should be observed, and the consummation should be delayed to avoid embarrassing the family. The obedience of the contracted wife is due to her guardian until her husband consummates the marriage with her; thereafter, her obedience is due to him. It is advisable to discuss this matter with the husband.
