Does a wife's caressing of her husband while she is observing a fast as expiation for unintentional killing invalidate the continuity of the fast, or should she make up that day and continue fasting?

If a woman is coerced into sexual intercourse under legally recognized duress while fasting, she bears no sin, and the continuity of her fast is not broken. However, if the duress is not legally recognized, or if the woman is lenient in consuming food and drink after intercourse, she must restart her expiatory fast anew. Whatever she had fasted previously will be counted for her as a supererogatory fast and will not be included as part of the expiation.
