Visions do not entail rulings, nor can certainty be derived from them. They are of three types: glad tidings from Allah, self-talk, or intimidation from Satan. Therefore, people seeing your friend in a dream without you seeing him entails nothing. As for friends meeting after death, the souls of believers do meet, and the righteous may be neighbors in Paradise, as Allah Almighty says: "And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [as] brothers, facing each other on thrones."
