How can the words of Allah Almighty be fulfilled: "Say, 'Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds'"?

To apply the noble verse that encompasses the highest levels of worship, a person must follow the guidance of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, by observing the obligatory prayers and performing as many supererogatory acts as possible. Then, all their habits should be transformed into acts of worship for Allah Almighty, through complete devotion to Allah in every thought of the heart and every action in life. This includes prayer, i'tikaf (seclusion in the mosque), life, death, ritual observances, and practical life. This is achieved by accustoming oneself to the idea that both life and death are for Allah. Thus, one seeks goodness and righteousness in every action, strives for perfection to be an example, and does not fear death in the path of truth. The matter is not difficult, but easy for whomever Allah makes it easy for, by transforming one's entire life into worship through having a righteous intention in ordinary actions. This includes intending to acquire lawful money for spending and fulfilling obligations, and intending to gain strength for obedience through eating, drinking, sleeping, and resting, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "And in the sexual act of one of you there is charity." And as Mu'adh, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "I expect reward for my sleep just as I expect reward for my waking (for prayer)."
